Code Red.
Siaga satu!
"Taman safari" yg i kelola mengalami bencana. Siaga satu. Terjadi wabah. Dalam kurun kurang dari 2 bulan 3 ternak mati mendadak. Tragisnya, yg terakhir adalah 'titipan' dari Linny. Mati tanpa sebab, padahal masih dalam perawatan karena sakit mata & hampir sembuh. Tadi pagi masih baik2 aja. Sore ini i nemuin dah mati. Waktu kematian diperkirakan sekitar pukul 14.

My Underwater Video.

What a happy couple, again? hehehe... Sanny & Yesica.This is my 1st 'true' underwater video, after this one. I bought Canon PowerShot G9 couple month ago & start to shot today, after i got the G9 undaerwater case of course :)
And…….
I proudly present………
Watudodol.
Never hear that? Ok. It is a small place, not famous, only few diver were dive here. About 15-20 minutes drive from Banyuwangi – East Java.
Current : fair – dangerous.
Visibility : usualy fair – poor (sometimes just 30ft – 0ft of visibility).
Location : (you can search with Google Earth by typing: watudodol).
The good news, you dont need to get too far from shore to see corals and another live things. All you got to do is wait until the current fairly slow, then swim for 50 meters max You’ll find a new world. I can say the situation quiet dangerous. So many sea urchin, sharp corals, jellyfish & …mmm… at least thers no shark there, hehehe... But if you had enough knowledge about ‘sea matter’, i think its not a big problem. Anyway, recommended not for beginner.
However, more than 20 years & 1500 hours of freedive log, i never get serious injury. Thanks God.
Now… In 1st run, i test the camera performance. Badly, like you can see, today is ‘wavy’ day & it makes “ultra poor” visibility & the camera shakes everywhere. OMG, in depth, visibility just reach about 15-20ft (aprox. 4,5-6 meters max) & in the surface just 8-10ft (less than 3 meters). But its ok. I just hope the weather & situation will be better for my next dive.
Yeah, like usual. Speechless… Just watch the video & it will tell you more than my words.

Ladies & gentlemen... My very first time underwater photo! Yeah, i know it isn't wonderfull. But i have to hold my breath & take this picture in 5 meter depth when visibility extremely poor.

Ini bukan special effect! Juga bukan salah setting kamera!
Intinya bukan rekayasa!
Barusan i lagi enak2 nonton tv sambil tidur2an. Pas liat ke jendela, kaget! Lho? Diluar koq kuning semua??? Serius, kuning! Kejadian seperti ini cukup langka di tempat i. So, i cepet2 ambil kamera, jepret, sekaligus rekam video. Yah.. jarang2 bisa nikmatin sore dgn langit kyk gini.

Laporan Awal Tahun.
Laporan kali ini menyatakan bahwa kondisi "taman safari" alias rumah i aman meskipun sedikit kurang terkendali.
Gimana enggak kurang terkendali. Dalam 1 bulan 3 peliharaan mati! 1 induk & 2 anak. Poor puppies. Entah kenapa, tanpa gejala, langsung tewas.
1 sakit mata, 1 lagi luka sobek nggak sembuh2 meski dah diobatin. Resikonya, mesti siap2 jatuh korban lagi.
Untungnya soal unggas & reptil sama sekali gak ada masalah, meski sebenernya 1 ekor kura2 sempat melarikan diri ampe ke pagar depan rumah, untung ketemu!
Populasi tikus tidak melonjak, kelelawar ampe burung liar yg jadi penghuni tetap ato musiman juga masih normal. Yg bikin gembira, populasi burung hantu (liar) kayaknya mulai naik lagi, beberapa waktu ini tiap beberapa hari selalu dengar suaranya & bukan cuman 1 ekor, lega banget.
Oy, i juga baru aja nemuin penghuni baru. Tupai. Selama ini i gak pernah nemuin tupai di rumah i. Tapi siang tadi i lihat ada 1 ekor tupai lari di atas tembok pembatas rumah i. Yup, barang baru! Meski i lom tau dimana sarangnya, tinggal tunggu waktu aja.
Sayangnya i ampe sekarang gak pernah ketemu lagi ama ular. Mungkin udah abis. Padahal dy cukup berguna buat mengendalikan tikus yg termasuk 'pengganggu' disini terutama bagi burung.
Tahun ni buat mengendalikan populasi sekaligus keamanan, petugas taman mendapatkan 'upgrade' peralatan. Air rifle Sharp Innova yg selama ini rusak sudah diperbaiki sekaligus di-upgrade. Selain pemasangan silencer, rail 20mm buat pasang scope (i pasang low mount punya MP5), laser & flashlight, juga dipoles lagi biar 'segar'. Masih dalam pengerjaan & scope masih dipesan, so masih dalam taraf uji coba, foto2 lainnya menyusul aja ya kalo dah selesai.
